It was a reunion of sorts…. two birthday grandgirls, a birthday son and a birthday Dor. And getting ready for Halloween 2017 was the plan! An ice cream cake, a favorite meal, and carving pumpkins marked a special time.

Wonderful fun! I love your carved pumpkins. We’ve never done more than the mere basics. I had seen fake white pumpkins, but yesterday I saw a real one for the first time. Y’all carved one! Fantastic! And there you were, sitting in the corner being pretty. Happy Birthday to all!

When I saw that photo of you and your granddaughters, what I noticed right away was the exact same gorgeous smile is on each face. Looks like you had a great visit :).

The grandgirls have always loved carving pumpkins and they have become pretty good at it. It’s fun just to see them at it, and then they collect and roast all the seeds too.
