Bill and I made a new friend today. I think he likes us.
He was a little apprehensive at first but loosened up after a snack and conversation.
His name is Pichu and we will be dog-sitting soon. Today was just a day to see if we liked each other.
I think Bill and Pichu may have made a connection don’t you?
And we were both delighted to have a furry critter in the house once again!
Awwwww!

He’s a doll. When are you going river cruising? We are going in November, sort of last minute planned cuz the deal was too good to pass up…..

They look like they are making friends and Pichu looks like he is a good natured, easy going sort of dog. How old is he?

Oh boy ! I know the feeling. He is a beautiful dog. PS I want a chair like yours Dora. or is it Bills chair ? I have great difficulty finding a chair that is comfortable for me and that one looks just the job. Are you going to keep Pichu ?

Thanks Julie. It’s all we can do to hold back about getting a dog but it’s just too hard to leave them and we are enjoying some flxibility after all these years. Dog-sitting may be just the thing to get our “dog fix.”

Clever us huh? I figure we can have all the joy and less of the work – much like having grandchildren.

We were all smiles when they left and I’m guessing there will be all smiles again when Pichu returns. 🙂

He did seem to really take to Bill. But he liked me too, especially when I offered him chicken bits. 🙂

Hurrah! We are now booked for a dogsitting night in about a week. Can’t wait!

The chair is for visitors mostly and there is a twin in the living room. You are welcome to lounge in either. We cannot keep Pichu, the dog, but we have offered to dog-sit when his family travels. We will truly enjoy the pup for however long we have him in our home.

They think Pichu is about 8 years old but he was a rescue dog so they aren’t sure. He does seem to be good natured and also seemed to love it at our house. So this may be a very happy arrangement. 🙂

Pichu is definitely “a doll” and we love him already. Glad you got a deal on the river cruise. November is coming up fast! We can compare notes in December.

Good Idea with Pichu. That way you are only tied for a short time. I am on the lookout for a chair like that Dora.. Too far to come visiting even though I would love to. Have a great day !!
