I thought that Autumn came and went
as winter spread its clenching hand
but Indian summer lingered
leaving love notes upon the land.
I am here. Please don’t forget me. I am here.

Love the poem, Dor. That first photo is amazing! Do you know what the little vine is that turns yellow? I’ve seen those in our area and wondered what they are!

Great post. Our neighbor had a single blooming iris standing by the roadside. Probably thinks it is spring. Although we’ve had a very chilly weekend, it appears we are still a little warmer than normal this coming week. A year ago we had snow the day before Thanksgiving!

It is that “same old” view from my kitchen window and I’m glad you like it too Eliza. It changes by the minut and I never tire of taking photos. 🙂

I love your “dream house” story Debbie. It’s where even the weather is part of the dream.

Thanks Dianna. Sometimes I just revert to poetry. I’m pretty sure the vine you refer to is called a “Grape Vine.” It has nothing to do with grapes of course but grows wild around here and its leaves turn bright yellow in the fall.
