PHOTO CHALLENGE
Beneath Your Feet
This week, look down and capture the ground beneath your feet.
My Driveway may not be perfect you know, but it works for country folks on the go. I gather up stones for flower pots too, and if careful, no pebbles will stick in my shoe. And just look at all the shapes and sizes. My gravel driveway. It’s full of surprises.
I like those shoes! They are so clean!

Well Dora if you look more closely you may come across fossils. That’s what happened once when I was looking at gravel delivered to my sons garden I found brachiopod fossils. My grand children were so excited. But normally I have my head to the ground looking for old pottery, but I think you know that by now Dora.

I learned that lesson while in Savannah, Georgia. High heels and cobblestone streets, don’t mix. 🙂

Oh, I will be looking down now Rita. To find a fossil (or pottery) like that would be grand. 🙂

I still have some high heels in the closet. They are reserved for weddings, but I fear wobbling, having forgotten how to keep my balance in them. 🙂

Yes – the driveway is an endless resource – and for all sizes of flowerpot stones too. 🙂

I love the white and dark mixed ones. Stones are fascinating as no two are alike!

Looks just like my driveway. Gravel drives & even roads are standard out here in the country. 🙂

Thanks Tina! Magnifying the ordinary was the goal. I just wish I had your photographic “eye” for discovering more adventure with the camera.

How I love it that we have the same driveway (among other things of course)! Sounds like we could exchange lives and no one would notice a difference.

Perfect shoes for a meandering down a stone driveway ~ always look down you never know what surprises reveal themselves.

Looking up has some revelations too. The problem is, which to do. 🙂 Thanks Mary. I always love your perspectives on things.
