Making Progress

Some things make me sad. This was once a prosperous dairy in a rural part of my county. Now it stands as a monument to simpler times and natural spaces. But, “that’s progress,” or is it?

I think the dairy barn will stay around a while though Jill. It keeps changing uses – was an equipment rent-all for awhile and now I think it is a bargain store of some sort. It just looks sad to me in the middle of all this “progress.”

It is that Mary. The dairy barn has been converted to other uses though and so far has held its own in the middle of all the modern “upgrades” around it.

There’s way too much of this so-called ‘progress’ going on everywhere. Makes me sad too.

I think they are building a credit union next door to the dairy barn.
