I have lost.
And the loss is painful.
I am missing the urge to write
and the words are buried.
My friend,
my mentor,
is dead
but still speaking to me
through old memories.
I will come back.
I promise.
When the tears subside.

I always thought that It would be so nice…..IF….
we could all come into the world at the same time and leave together.
Unfortunately for us all, that is not the way it is.
I am sorry to hear that you have lost a loved one.

He was my boss first, then he and his wife were friends. And even after we all retired, we remained friends. We were friends for 35 years.
