I am awed by the unexpected connections sometimes formed between human beings and the creatures of the wild.
This came to me in an email and it cries out for sharing. Obviously the warden was not only brave but compassionate. The creature knew it, and a temporary bond was formed, based on trust.
That was awesome!!!! I loved when the warden reached out and touched his nose. What an experience that must have been!

Thanks for sharing this. I would be right there too trying to free the poor thing. But sometimes my heart is bigger than my brain! 🙂

Oh my GOD! Incredible clip. That warden was so incredibly brave. The moose’s breathing showed how exhausted he was. Once a raccoon whose tail was broken off tried to come into our house, and another time a Great Blue Heron adopted us. Both I had rescued. Really incredible warden, let’s give him a promotion!

That was great to watch. I was nervous for him, tho. I was afraid the moose might kick in fear. End result was great!
