When two of my three grandgirls come to visit, they bring smiles, especially in October.
And my favorite place to smile is at Herman’s Produce right here in Lexington, Virginia.

It’s so much fun to select a pumpkin (or two or three). It’s wonderful that you and your granddaughters could do it together.

I understand completely. When we go up to Charlottesville in the fall to see our granddaughters, the first place we head is Carter’s Mountain overlook. All kinds of pumpkins and produce and especially love those fresh baked apple donuts!! The view of the Blue Ridge is spectacular.

We have such a good time when we are all together, and you are right Sheryl, looking at pumpkins and all that vivid color is always a thrill.

The color is absolutely astounding isn’t it Patti – no matter how stunning it was the previous year.
