There is a story about a red chair that’s making the rounds.

I mean the red CHAIR is making the rounds.

Really!

It all started when an innkeeper (Beth Colt)  in Cape Cod took a picture of a bright red chair on a frozen pond.

She posted the photo on Facebook and got deluged with blinking “Likes” from folks who were touched by the awesome image.

From that single photo emerged a movement.  Now each Bed and Breakfast innkeeper who is visited by “Red” is obliged to take pictures of the chair at key spots in the surrounding area.  The photos are posted on Red Chair Travels.  The chair is now a symbol of connection, adventure and discovery and is on the move.

Anyway, there is a story about The Red Chair  – how it is expected to come to Virginia in the next few days, and how it is embarking on a cross-country trip.  It’s all about the power of imagination.
