I love your view of the mountains. It’s a bonus to have autumn included in it. Happy Fall!

Though it has it challenges, there’s nothing quite like living in the country. With views like that you and I could be neighbours. 😉

There you go making me homesick again. We’ll be visiting our daughter in Charlottesville soon so it’s OK.

Definitely not the Eastern Shore.

What a beautiful place you have. Just today I was roaming a bit and noticed that our goldenrod finally is showing some color. I think it’s one of the most beautiful flowers in the world, and I’m even fonder of it now that I know it doesn’t cause an allergic reaction — that’s the job of that danged ragweed!

Thank you Judy! We have been here many years and never tire of the views.

Same name, same views, and believe it or not we live in the middle of a fox hunting mecca.

Thanks Dianna. These are words from those who know and have been here. Wish you would come again.

🙂 And it’s beautiful but I still yearn for the sea.

Oh, I am so glad someone else admires a weed flower like Goldenrod! I didn’t know it is hypoallergenic. Thanks for that bit of info. Makes me love it even more.

I often wish I could walk in vistas like yours. Wide open spaces where you can see far in the distance. The woods have their own appeal but your expansive view is beautiful!

Every once in awhile we take off and go somewhere for a Mountain fix. The sea definitely has a special lure. Here’s hoping your lower propellers are coming along just dandy.

What are housing prices like in your neck of the woods? So inviting.

Will you move here? If you are looking “out in the county” prices can go from $300,000 for a 3 bedroom 2 bath to over a million dollars – depending on the acreage.

Wow! We think we will eventually downsize and possibly move. We can’t follow our kids because they are hither and yon!!!

Same here. Son and grands scattered. Let me know when you want to start looking and can come for a visit.
