Life is better with strange blogger friends, and I do appreciate your looking for the thing that is hiding. Tis a fawn who may have lost its mother because it is always alone and tries to act like a statue if you look right at her – or hides in the weeds like this.

While house sitting two miles away over the weekend, they were everywhere, 30 MPH is the golden rule in this neck of the woods. One constantly has the head on a left, right, left, visual plane.
