Bill and I are going to a wedding this Merry Month of May 2018.
It’s the little girl in the photo!
Her name is Suzanne.
We were there to greet her a few days after she was born.
Then she and her family came to visit us often in Rural Virginia.
There goes Time.
She created imaginary pizzas with Bill and went on hikes and swimming
with her Dad.
And of course, small town exploring in Lexington, Virginia with her Mom and me.
There goes Time again.
We shared happy days and stories through all her growing up years.
And we were there to celebrate her graduation from a college in Vermont.
And still she came to visit and loved our dogs and the country livin’.
She loved Carrie the Golden Retriever best and walks in the woods
and all the giggles.
And now we will be there for Suzanne’s wedding.
There goes Time.
There goes Time.
I hope you’ll show Suzanne this post, Dor…it’s lovely. It truly is scary how quickly the years pass. Enjoy the wedding!

Hold on! Why do you and BIll look like you just walked off the set of the Rockford Files? I’m giving you movie star status in this photo Donna.
As for Suzanne. Enjoy all the joy that weddings bring .. cheers!

Going to weddings like that make us realize that time has really passed when we see a child grow into a woman. Enjoy the wedding! Great photo!

I still remember the day a girl I baby-sat for during my high school years introduced me to her grand-daughter. How could I forget it? The years do fly. But how wonderful that you’ll be able to share this next big event in Suzanne’s life!

I realized this past summer at our family reunion that my YOUNGEST niece is in her 50s. One niece and nephew have retired. How did all that happen?

Wow! Movie star status? Are you sure you are looking on the right side of the photo? Hope so because you have made my day even if that day was over 20 years ago!

You are so right Coastal Crone…. seems Suzanne was just a little girl like in the photo and it was only yesterday, and now she will be a bride.

I thought that was you, but never can tell–could have been a sister or a doppleganger.

The ravages of time Judy. Should we be grateful for photos from 20+ years ago or should we lament the changes time has wrought?

The other woman is my friend and it has been said more than once that we look alike.

Oh what a blessing it is for you to attend that special little girl’s wedding. When I go to weddings and can’t believe the bride and groom are old enough for such a thing, I just marvel…how did they grow up yet I don’t feel any older? (Well inside my head anyway, not with my body!)
