Those late snows are among the best — at least, I remember them being so. For one thing, we knew we wouldn’t have to wait four months for the snow to melt!

You really did get it! We were threatened, but our mountain weather can be quite wimpy. John went through some snow on his way back from NY, but he said people drove along nicely without doing crazy things. Surely yours won’t last long.
