No pics…. the first launch it wound up in the trees and had to be retrieved with a long pole. Second launch had it in the pool (which is fortunately covered for the winter). Now awaiting fair weather to launch it from the ground instead of the deck. 🙂

It is a lot of fun even though this one only has a 500 yard radius. The gift giver has a warped sense of humor though. He got me a “Hey Google’ thing so I can yell questions at it while I am cooking. 🙂

It won’t go as far as the neighbor’s Eliza but it will take pics. Who knows what it will find on its way around? Thanks for asking after me Eliza. I thought to quit blogging all together since have been down with a cold for two weeks! Also still struggling with the dragging foot. But bound and determined now to be a come back kid. 🙂

We got a “Hey Alexa” thing for Christmas…
Must say, it is kind of fun to ask for info from these little know it all machines. (Except, sometimes they don’t know. O.o )

Great present Dor,I would love one to spot any hidden archaeological sites but I don’t suppose it would be powerful enough for that. Have fun and please do Not sop blogging I will miss my morning giggle else. Love your sense of humour as I have said before. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

I got one of those Google home things too, and my husband got a mini-drone to practice with before he gets a big one lol. There’s a man (overgrown child really) that has one and is constantly getting it lost in the neighborhood, lol. He lives down the street and around the corner from us. Glad to see you back and I pray you’re on the mend!!

Hi Judith…. the drone was a gift for Bill and the Hay Google thing was for me. Both from the same friend who really generated a lot of laughs this holiday. Thanks for your good wishes and of course, Happy New Year back! 🙂

I know what you mean about the know-it-all thing that doesn’t really know it all. Fortunately I have a Compton’s Encyclopedia from the 40’s. There is nothing about space travel in it, or drones, or cell phones, but it’s still endearing. 🙂
