Lucky you to have that scene out your windows.
I could sit and gaze on that view for hours.

Thanks Jane! The redbuds are so glorious around here, they actually form corridors along the byways.

Well Dora………… The hills, sorry Mountains are alive with the sound of music…couldn’t resist that because that is what I would be singing to myself when looking at those gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains. I just love mountains and even though, as you know there are plenty here,I would just love to be there looking at YOUR mountains. Ah well !! one day maybe.

I’m not sure if Spring or Fall is my favorite time in the valley, but I don’t think there is ever a time when it isn’t pretty! 🙂

You are so welcome Cindy. I can never believe how many photos I take of the same mountain view and how different they all come out depending on nature’s whims.

I am in Lexington for a Saturday every two to three weeks. After we visit the MIL at the nursing home we usually try to find a trail to hike and unwind or just drive around on pretty country roads.

I think that was our intention one weekend but couldn’t find the parking area…just lots of no parking signs! Then again, I could very well be mixing this up with a different destination, ha.
