Slipping By Splendor

This is one of my favorite photos taken as we drifted along. I have forgotten where we were. Was it the Rhine or the Danube? I do remember those are vineyards at the top of the shot. It seems Germany is becoming known for its wines.

It was a foggy morning in a sleeping city.

The water made for some lovely reflections in your shots. Seems like there was lots of good foliage while you were there, too. It must have been lovely just to float along, not a care in the world!

Not cold – around high 60’s daytime and 40-50F at night.

It was definitely that Eliza – lovely floating along. And it was so much smoother than I had envisioned.

Look at you capturing reflections in your photos!! I told you that you’re becoming a pro :). How did you like the architecture over there? I was so amazed and fascinated by it on our trip that I couldn’t stop taking pictures of fancy doorways and old churches and such.

Wonderful !! It must have been so relaxing Dora. You captured the tree with its reflection beautifully, it looks like the Golden Rain tree we have in England.

The architecture was what kept me snapping and snapping and snapping – same as you Cindy. After awhile though, I couldn’t remember where the churches and castles were. 🙂

I believe the tree might have been our same Weeping Willow. I will have to look up your Golden Rain Tree though. What a romantic name! 🙂
