I so agree John! There is a strange feeling standing in such old places – like I am there in that long ago time and can hear and see the inhabitants. 🙂

I think the thing about Europe that always affects me is to walk in the footprints of those who had been there hundreds and sometimes thousands of years before…Love the special attention to detail that went into what they built.
