There is a lot to see in Germany, many places to visit, much history and charm, but there is something utterly irresistible about German beer, bread, chocolate, cheese, and pastries!

Oh yes, that is truly amazing. My strongest memories of France and Germany are of the amazing bakeries and restaurants.

Yummmm. So a trip to Europe is going to make me fat…that’s what I have to look forward to in retirement. 😉 My son and daughter-in-law have been to Germany and they loved the food there. She’s been there more times than I can count on business but somehow she managed to stay thin.

It’s true, my memories of Europe mostly surround food, particularly the pastries and cafes!
