SIGNS OF THE TIMES
Times are marching ahead more quickly than I anticipated. I used to get down on the floor with our Golden Retrievers, Peaches and Carrie, to brush them and cuddle. Getting up was no problem. I still get down there to do some stretches and look for other things to do. Getting up is the problem.

Right there with you! I’m back swimming laps at the local pool, and if I don’t get the first lane with the stairs and have to “jump” out on my butt and do the swivel-knee bend to rise–well, let’s just say it is painful for me and not a pretty sight!

You are making me laugh! It’s not a pretty sight if you witness me trying to get up from the floor! Congrats on doing the laps though…. I think about such things but get stuck on “sedentary.” 🙂

Me, too, but then I get stuck on desperation!

You got it, Dora. It’s a sign of the times. Getting my socks on, at times, is a real pain.

It is a sad fact that I never thought would happen to me. But who would? Yoga is my only hope!
