If you are tired of looking at my mountains, I understand. But I am addicted to gazing.
Then I race for the camera, addicted to sharing magnificent views.
And since my wide eyed vistas of the same mountain range change and change again, you blogger friends are force fed eternal photographs.
Ah Well.
The Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia as I see them through my kitchen window or deck, are eternally addictive.
Perhaps I need an “intervention.”
I understand how you feel. I love looking at my mountain views as much as looking at yours also. Nothing like living on the Blue Ridge ❤

Dor, by any chance did you take these beautiful photographs last night? Even here in the flatlands, the sky and mist was amazing.

I would definitely share your addiction if I lived there :). Beautiful shots!!

Why could anyone be tired of looking at that? They ARE addictive and so is the fall landscape here that I’m see every time I jump in my car. Sign me up for the intervention too. 😉

Not at all. I’m sure it’s different in some way every sitting. I’ve always been puzzled by these “gazing balls”…scenery and vistas do it for me all the time.

I feel the same way about the river/marina in front of our house….the view changes minute to minute, and it’s impossible not to take photos and share them!
You’ll have to let me know when the leaves are peak, so we can plan our autumn mountain trip!

One was this morning – the top one. The others were over the last few days and usually at sunrise. The mist always gets me because it makes everything look so ethereal.

Well when you get here we can drink in the mountain views together! 🙂

I am not sure about “peak” color around here. Maybe it is now. But we have had some big winds lately, denuding many of the trees that would add to the autumn beauty. Are you coming my way for your “autumn mountain trip?” We are not far from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Let’s meet for lunch! 🙂

You are so right Ronnie. The mist, the sunshine, encroaching storms, the season – everything makes those views change dramatically and I never tire of them.

I love your way of saying “magical mountains” and that they are. Thanks Eliza.

I’ll let you know! We haven’t made any firm plans yet – and most likely, either my son or mother-in-law will be with us for the ride. But I’ll be in touch; it would be great to meet!

It really does, I agree. I was heading out the other night and saw the heavy mist on my fields. By the time I found my camera and got out there to shoot it, it was changing before my eyes. It was spooky, Dor, because the bats were just coming out and I was so hoping one of them would fly into the shot. How cool would that be? Alas, they stayed away.

I never ever get tired of any views Dora, Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter , mountain views especially, the changing scenery, the mists, even snow on top of the mountains which we do get in Crete. I promise to find some of our scenery Dora when I get the chance. But I do love your Blue Ridge Mountains.

I know it is a real privilege to have that view but after 1,000 glimpses I figure I’d better go for a ride somewhere just for novelty. 🙂
