Another morning.
Another view from my kitchen window.
Ho Hum!
Another day.
What did I miss a minute ago?
Was it the long view?
I hate to leave my kitchen window.

No wonder you hate to leave your kitchen window!! Such beauty to behold, I’d want to sit there all day.

Sometimes I think I would get more cooking done Dianna, if I wasn’t transfixed by everything outside. 🙂

Your last post was “up close” and mine – “the long view.” There must be a happy meeting ground.

I understand the feeling that you well described. This morning as I look out of the window I saw a hummingbird enjoying the nectar from a group of calla lilies. I stood there transfixed and he was so busy he didn’t even notice my presence.

There is more peace and tranquility in that kind of “watching” than anything else I an imagine! 🙂

Tell me about this wonderful image. Did you manipulate it with a paint filter?

‘Tis nature’s work Mike, although I did modify the “brightness” level a bit. Sometimes my photos are just too glaring.

What a beautiful view! Like you hating to leave your kitchen window, I’m always going out on the porch to watch all that’s happening or just sit.
