Daily Post: Weekly Photo Challenge
Texture
This week, share a texture found in an unexpected place. It could be made of natural materials or with man-made objects. This is a great opportunity to look at the world in a slightly different way — along with looking at things from new angles. Zooming very far out or very far in are both great ways to create texture and pattern in photos.
Yes, I was looking around for texture and zooming around, and this is what I found. Can you guess what it is?
‘Tis the shell of a Galapagos Tortoise! I took a picture of the giant creature at the Virginia Safari Park. Isn’t nature amazing?
Yes indeed!

That’s very cool, Dor. This is one of those things that the more you examine it, the more beautiful it becomes.

It’s something like looking at a seashell or a leaf. I have always thought that nature is the ultimate artist.

Before you identified the object in the photo, I knew it was a turtle. Lovely photo, Dor, and it does show excellent texture.

Ditto Eliza! And most times the patterns are finer than anything we humans can produce. 🙂

Good choice! I knew what they were immediately but then they reminded me of umbrellas also. Good job! Thanks for the recent comment on one of my posts!
