I have returned from the wild west!

As we were driving to the airport on Departure Day, I insisted on stopping long enough to catch this sign!

It made me laugh at first. But it was also a reminder of how grateful we should all be for the brave men and women who are there when we most need them.

SO true! Our volunteer fire department is next door to our shop; we’re so glad to have them for neighbors!

Welcome home, Dor! We left the light on for you. We take firefighters and volunteer EMTs for granted, they give so much, for so little.

It takes a very special person indeed who would volunteer like this. Makes my heart thrill to remember people who are so giving of themselves. By the way, welcome home! We always say it’s fun to go and fun to come home again…
