Leaving my blog is tantamount to leaving my children.
It’s a horrible feeling to completely lose touch.
Maybe a reliable babysitter could be called in
just to check on incoming blog posts from my favorite people.
Granted, I have not yet met my blog-children in person (except for one couple I thought might be axe murderers but who turned out to be utterly delightful kids).
But the rest are out there – my other children drifting around in cyberspace.
They need me.
How on earth can I leave?
What fabulous stories and photos will I miss?
Who will tell them their posts are wonderful if not for me?
Will they forget me?
I hope “gone is not forgotten”
As I fly the skies for parts unknown.
California here I come
looking for a place to roam.
Please wait my friends – my children!
I will be back with stories of my own.
We’ll miss you – safe travels!

We are still going to be here!!! You are coming to Cali??? Just use your son’s computer if you need to check in….or I could loan you a laptop. Unless, of course…… sacrilege, you actually want a VA-CAY-SHUN??????
Perish the thought……
and GOOD for you??
We’ll be waiting for you to come home.
When are you coming the land of sun and nuts?

Gosh, I know how you feel. I’ve deserted my poor blog children, with all my time being taken up with my new shop to raise funds for the shelters. I’ve found a gap to pop back on here and cannot tell you how much I’ve missed it. We’ll all be waiting for you

Just think of all the trouble we could get into checking out the hotties on the beach :). LOL!!

You for sure would get into trouble – and I would get a kick out of watching (you – not the hotties of course as that would be beneath me).

Your children will be waiting, Dor! I guarantee it! I take it you’ll not be writing during your trip. (Although I didn’t intend to write more than one blog on my trip and kinda found time anyway.) It has been two weeks since reading other blog posts, though, so am having fun doing this today.

Must have missed this one. You mean you came to CA and didn’t see me!!! Where were you?

We were first in San Diego, then in Carlsbad, and then in Phoenix….. a crazy trip but we have relatives and friends in all those places. Where are you in relation to all that? Who knows…. I may descend on you yet! 🙂

We are in the Antelope Valley, northeast of San Diego by about 4 hours, I think. Just northeast of LA.

Next time we should rendezvous some mid point. 🙂 I’ll bring my dog just in case you’re an axe murderer.

Blahahahaha! You have noticed the budding friendship I have with a Canadian couple I was sure would be axe murderers. And what lovely people they are. Of course, looks can be deceiving. Bringing your dog might be a good idea if we meet halfway. 🙂
