My favorite shopping cart sign is the one at Northern Tools: “Wheels but no engine? Better leave it here.” — or words to that effect. (It’s been awhile since we’ve been to Northern!)
I never looked but just realized it is atop the place where you return your shopping baskets in a Walmart parking lot. I suppose they put it up so high so you can see the spot above all the cars. 🙂 Amazing the things I notice for a blog post.
I like the idea of “signs” so much that I created my own new category – Signs of the Times. I will be looking for odd signs to post every now and then and not related to the Photo Challenge we had last week.
When I see these in the course of my daily life, they should read “I SEE DUMB PEOPLE? do we REALLY NEED all these SIGNS 😦 They are all on their phones and are not paying attention ANYWAY 🙂
See I am tired of being bombarded by the Obvious, they add signs everywhere to get simple people, to do what is simply right. We all know the carts must get placed in proper places back in store or it a corral with other shopping carts, no need for a SIG, waste of $$$ and so many signs they are ignored all together. On occasion I go to the store with Ron and sit in the truck and observe as the shoppers go in and out and 7 out of 10 have a phone to their ear or are texting lol some come from the store in a stupor phone in hand unable to find their car 🙂 I do love watching people I guess I spent a life time behind the wheel of a truck watching them so I wouldn’t HIT THEM
I don’t understand this sign. Is it in english?

This one isn’t too hard but sometimes I don’t “get” the signs!

What a fun sign! I like this week’s photo challenge topic. I’ve been enjoying seeing the different signs on various blogs that I regularly read.

Agreed! People are always leaving their carts wherever it feels good to them.

I like that you are a people watcher like I am – and not a sign reader. 🙂
