Somewhere in a haze of fever
I thought I was in cyberspace once more,
full of ideas for new blogs and images,
ready to absorb – waiting.
In reality, I was involved in my own fiction,
dreaming but not dreaming,
hot, then cold, then dizzy and
back in space again –drifting.
It might have been the flu or some other
unknown virus
taking its toll on creativity
but with its own kind of joy in recovery.
I am emerging from that semi-transparent, sometimes
murky place of seemingly endless illness,
appetite for life returning,
appetite for food returning,
and I don’t think I’ve lost a pound!
Sorry you have been sick. A map I saw about flu cases colored the whole US except MS and CA red. But it is coming. Juicing up a storm!

Oh Dor, I was starting to get so very worried about you because it’s not like you to be away from the blogging world for so long :(. This is becoming such a bad year for the flu, and I’m sorry to hear that you have been so ill but also glad to hear that you are on the road to recovery. I have missed you terribly :).

That’s called “all the suffering but none of the gain! Actually the gain would have been the loss (of weight), but that’s a quirk of language. The important thing is that you recover back to the old, wonderful writer we all know and love.

Welcome BACK! I have backed off some as life gets in the way EXERCISE lol but I always remember to take my camera 🙂 I do not see much of the world so praying I do not catch all that nasty stuff
Take care

Bummer! That last time….that’s the silver lining in any illness and you didn’t get it.

Some friends can’t be ignored and you are at the top of my list of “sympatico” people. You make me feel so good at a time when blogging seems a colossal task.
I have missed you terribly too Cindy and I am just grateful to count you in my inner circle. 🙂

Stay on the beach Eunice! All that fresh air and non-exposure to the masses will help protect you. Thanks for the virtual hugs though! 🙂

The silver lining will be when I can sit still long enough to tell a story. Maybe a post about Paradise Lost. Where did the week go? Thanks Kate. 🙂
