There is something about a misty summer dawn that makes me smile.
The world is fresh and green. It must have rained last night for there are signs.
And all is calm. The deer are hiding somewhere. The birds are only just awaking.
There is pure peace in these few moments, and quiet.
The light is different – soft, but changing – and here comes the sun.
Good morning!
Ahhhhh, what beautiful words and photos to begin my day! Thank you Dor :).

Wow Dorothy. I just read “A Misty Morning” and it is amazing. I looked for the name of the famous author…..and there was your name! I think you missed your calling…..Write more of these, please….. When I read it, I was totally transported to the “Hotel” again and all the wonderful memories I have of it.

I still cannot get my imagination to conjure up spring in New Zealand while it is almost the end of summer here. It is lovely to claim a sister in another part of the world. And we can spin our tales and comments to each other through droughts and blizzards because the sun is always shining in cyberspace! 🙂

I agree Dianna – the very best. But then, dusk has its fine points too. Maybe both have something to do with the light.
